![]() I don't clearly understand how the touchscreen gains access to the UI GUI if it is not connected to the internet Is that in between your UI24 and your touchscreen or a cpu via USB separate from the hdmi? So, just confirming.if I connect the touchscreen via hdmi, the Soundcraft web browser mixer appears on the touchscreen?įor back up, can I also connect my iPad via the Soundcraft wifi and also use that surface in addition to the touchscreen? That's really informative mate, thank you. So then the router has the Soundcraft wifi connection closed to the router, the laptop is just the control surface?įorgive my catching up on all this, I honestly did look around for precise details but everything I found just skims over and omits the exact protocol for hooking everything to each otherĮdit*- Missed the bit about the UI and laptop connect to the router and thats where the handshake happens.got it Using the router, and not requiring an internet connection, does the router connect to the laptop via ethernet and the laptop to the Ui via USB? You can plug the Ui24R and PC/laptop into the router.Have to admit I do like working the Big D layout much more than the default mode. But someone in the other post mentioned that HDMI screen can't do the "Big D" mode - if that indeed is the case, that would be a deal breaker for me, because I use it even on my tablet.īy the way, if you use an external router - you don't need to go wireless, you can go wired.
